Winter passed away in November 2021, and now joins in death Florida’s most famous dolphin with a prosthetic tail. The aquarium where Winter lived released a statement saying “PJ is now able to join Winter and serve as her bodyguard for eternity”, which was exactly what Winter wanted. We hope that everyone who loved WinterPJ can take some solace in knowing that she is now at peace.

Did Clearwater Marine Aquarium get a new dolphin?
Izzy is an Atlantic bottlenose dolphin who was rescued near North Padre Island, Texas in June of 2022. After years of illegal human interaction in the wild, her health had declined and required intervention. CMA was selected as her forever home, and she arrived on November 4, 2022. Izzy is currently the newest resident dolphin at CMA, and we are so happy to have her!
